Who's Who?

Meet the team behind the Barnsley VTS:

The Course Organisers

Pete Lane: has been a course Organiser for a number of years. Peter particularly developed the half-day release programme to be more responsive and appropriate to the educational needs of the emerging generation of doctors. His motto 'learning is fun' sets the scene for many lively debates in a highly interactive registrar led educational programme.

Jim Walker has been a course Organiser for 5 years and Trainer for 9 years.

Jon Griffin - has been a Course Organiser for 3 years and is also a Trainer at the Penistone practice.

Helen Morris-

Recently appointed as an Associate Course Organiser and is also a Trainer at the Penistone practice.

Simon Park - Recently appointed as an Associate Course Organier.

Administration Staff

Glenise - Is the administrative mainspring of the VTS. She keeps everyone informed of what's going on locally, coordinates all the scheme's major events and advises Registrars on job certification, courses etc. She is extremely supportive to the Registrars and if there is a question she doesn't have the answer to . . . she finds out!
