Postgraduate GP Training

  • Joint Committee on Postgraduate Training for General Practice is a statutory body which sets the standards for all GP training posts in the UK, and certifies GPs who have successfully completed a VTS, and maintains a list of accredited GP's. The Joint Committee certificate is the license required to practise as a GP in the UK in any capacity.
  • The National Office for General Practice Training - what training opportunities are available, and which ones would suit you best? This office co-ordinates recruitment to general practice training in the UK, with a Deanery Finder, and a list of VTS's with current vacancies.
